- The oil can strengthen the immune system and the protective skin barrier.
- This oil is also anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.
- Plus, you can use German Chamomile essential oil to speed up tissue healing. This also helps you to get rid of scars.
- If there are any coumarins, the oil can be phototoxic. This means you cannot go into the sun for at least 24 hours after use. You can find out the oil’s composition by checking out its GC/MS report. If you ask them, sellers should give you free access to it.

If you feel more at ease, you can use hydrosols too. They’re the by-products of essential oil extraction and are also called floral water and hydrolats.
These hydrosols have therapeutic benefits too, but they’re a lot milder than essential oils. They contain the compounds that are water-soluble and don’t make it into the oils.
Hydrosols can also be antibacterial and anti-pruritus. Plus, they have antioxidant properties too. Hydrosols are safe for babies, children, and pets.
- All aromatherapy oils for rosacea must be tested for allergic reactions first. A patch test is in order.
